GCSE Re-sit Maths and English Information

During the academic year 2023-24, there were nine students in the sixth form who had not achieved a grade 4 or above in English Language. Seven of them did achieve this standard during the year. There were four students who had not achieved a grade 4 or above in maths and none achieved this standard during the year.

During the academic year 2022-23, there were six students in the sixth form who had not achieved a grade 4 or above in English Language. Two of them did achieve this standard during the year. There were nine students who had not achieved a grade 4 or above in maths and one did achieve this standard during the year.

All students entering the sixth form in September 2020 had achieved a Grade 4 in English Language.

Two students entered the sixth form in September 2020 having not yet achieved a Grade 4 in Mathematics. Both students subsequently re–sat the examination in November 2020 and one of them achieved a grade 4. The second student re-sat the examination in June 21, November 21 and June 22, but did not achieve a grade 4.
